What is Jaywan?

What are the features under Jaywan?
Jaywan introduces a new era of card payments in the UAE, with fully local debit and prepaid transactions. All payment data is securely processed and stored within the UAE. It promotes wider access to financial services and gives you better control over your spending — ideal for budgeting, gifting, or online purchases, with secure, flexible, and widely accepted pre-loaded funds to help you achieve your financial goals.
What is the eligibility criteria for getting a Jaywan Card?
For Debit Card: Applicants must be UAE residents with a valid Emirates ID and be at least 18 years old. Once you have a SIB account, you can apply for a Virtual Jaywan Debit Card through the SIB Digital App and later request a physical card.
For Prepaid Card: Applicants must be UAE residents with a valid Emirates ID and be at least 18 years old.
Can I use Jaywan Card while I am traveling abroad?
For now, the Jaywan Card is designed for local retail and online use within the UAE.
Is Jaywan Card secured?
Yes. The Jaywan framework strengthens the UAE’s regulatory standards and consumer protection measures, ensuring secure transactions and providing clear recourse in case of disputes or fraud — building greater trust in the payment ecosystem.
